BUSH BUILDING CORPORATION is a highly qualified construction company based on many years of experience in commercial, industrial and manufacturing construction. The Bush name has been associated with superior building in the Waco area for over 80 years. James M. Bush, father of J.W. Bush, was a general contractor in Waco until 1935. J.W. Bush has been in the architectural-engineering business locally for over 50 years, and his son, James E. Bush, grew up in the building business and started BUSH BUILDING CORPORATION in July 1975. In 1992 J. Bradley Bush, the fourth generation, joined the company.

In 1996, after helping establish the company as a front-runner in the design-build construction industry, Brad Bush left the company to pursue other interests. At this time, there are six Bush grandchildren. Perhaps one of them will enter the business at some time in the future to carry on the family tradition.
